i WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul has worked to develop a comprehensive legislative agenda to be
z considered as part of the Saint Paul Legislative Package for the 2001 Legislative session; and

4 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Saint Paul City Council does hereby
s recommend to the 1vTinnesota State Legislature the passage of the legislation which will include the
6 following initiatives in addition to the original initiatives itemized in Council File # Ol-7:
$ Saint Paul Citv Initiatives
9 q. National Guard Armory and Community Center and Pierce Butler Relocation which will be
io eligible for state financing under the Department of Trade and Economic Development Redevelopment
li Account which is supported by the City in the support resolution passed on January 3, 2001 as Council
i2 File # Ol-8.
13 r. Pig's Eye Dump Clean-up which is expected to be included in the the Minnesota Pollution Control
i4 Agency statewide dump clean-up program.

i� Mimiesota Legislature the passage that will include the following legislative initiatives brought forward by
is outside groups and organizations; and these support items are in addition to the support items that where
i9 included and passed in Council File # Ol-8 on January 3, 2001:

21 Central Corridor Planning and Engineering Funding of $10 million (Ramsey County)
22 Dedicated Funding for Transit
z 3 Northstar Corridor Connector to Saint Paul which will also serve as the Saint Paul to Minneapolis
z 4 connector for the Rasmey County Red Rock and Rush Corridor commuter rail lines.
