MIHEREAS, The Public Works Countercyclical Bill has granted additional funds
in the amount of approximately $997,320 to the City of Saint Paul , of which
$318,318 has been received by the City, and
WHEREAS, The Shade Tree Disease Control Program Budgetsfor 1977 and 1978 are
dependent on these funds, and
WHEREAS, This Program complies with the rules and regulations under Title II
of the Public Works Employment Act of 1976, as amended (Anti-Recession Fiscal
Assistancel , now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, That the Council of the City of Saint Paul does hereby authorize
� the transfer of $318,318, as well as the transfer of future grant receipts
anticipated not to exceed an additional $679,002, from the Anti-Recession Aid
Trust Fund (50120) to the Diseased Tree Removal Special Revenue Fund (33122) to
be used for the removal of diseased trees in the abo�e referred to program.
