RESOLVED, That upon execution and delivery of a
release in full to the City, in a form to be approved
by the City Attorney, the proper City officers are
hereby authorized and directed to pay out of the Tort
Liability Fund 09070-511-000, to :
1. George Marx the sum of $75 .32 in full settlement
of his claim of damages sustained on or about
December 15 , 1976, as more particularly set out in
a communication to the City Council on December 23,
1976.
2. Karl Johnson the sum of $157.50 in full settle-
ment of his claim of damages sustained on or about
December 2, 1976, as more particularly set out in
a communication to the City Council on December 16,
1976.
3. Nirs. Marian Flann�ry the sum of $52.90 in full
settlement of her claim of damages sustained on or
about -November 7, 1976, as more particularly set
out in a communication to the City Council on
November 18, 1976.
4. Commercial Union Assurance Companies the sum of
$602.59 in full settlement of its claim of damages
sustained on or about May,-4, 1976 , as more partic-
ularly set out in a communication to the City
Council on October 26, 1976.

CLAIMS AGAINST THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL
BY GEORGE MARX, KARL JOHNSON, MRS. MARIAN
FLANNERY, AND COMMERCIAL UNION ASSURANCE COMPANIES
Claimant, George Marx, requests reimbursement for damages
to his automobile which occurred on December 15 , 1976,
when a City of Saint Paul, Department of Community Services
tree trimming crew was removing a tree stump at Thomas
and Lexington Streets. This office approves the settle-
ment of Mr. Marx' s claim in the amount of $75.32.
Claimant, Karl Johnson, was anvolved in an automobile
accident with a City of Saint Paul, Department of Public
Works vehicle on December 2, 1976. Expenses are f�or
the repair of the damaged vehicle. This office approves
the settlement of Mr. Johnson' s claim in the amount of
$157.5Q.
Claimant, Mrs. Marian Flannery, reque sts reimbursement
for damages to her eye glasses and pant suit which were
broken and torn when she fell on a city sidewalk on
November 7, 1976, at 20Q West 7th Street. This office
approves the settlement of Mrs. Flannery's cla�m in the
amount of $52. 90.
Claimant, Commerical Union Assurance Companies, requests
reimbursement for monies paid out to their insured,
Elizabeth Todd, as a result of an accident she had with
a City of Saint Paul, Departm�ent of Public Works vehicle
on May 4, 1976 . This office approves the settlement of
Commercial Union's cl�im in the amount of $6Q2.59.
