RESOLVED, That upon the execution of a Release of All Claims,
approved by the City Attorney, the proper City officers are hereby
authorized and directed to pay to Brenda J. Moses, Joe Johnson, and
Thomas E. Peterson, attorney, the sum of Two Hundred Twenty-two
and 09/100 ($222.09) Dollars in full settlement of their claims for
damages arising out of a motor vehicle accident occurring on March
5, 1976, at Maryland and Dale between a City vehicle and claimant' s
vehicle} to be paid out of Tort Liability Fund No. 09070-511-000.

RE: Claim of Brenda J. Moses and Joe Johnson
The above clai.m arises out of an accident occurring on
March 5, 1976, at the intersection of Maryland and Dale
Street. Mr. Johnson was driving Miss Moses ' vehicle north
on Dale in the right lane approaching Maryland. A col-
lision occurred between the vehicle and a City vehicle
that was making somewhat of a sweeping turn from Northbound
Dale to Eastbound Maryland. The claimants were awarded
the full amount of their claimed damages in Conciliation
Court ($338.68) , but we appealed the judgment. The claim-
ant' s insurer and I have arrived at a settlement of 65/ of
the claimed damages. In my opinion the settlement is
reasonable, and I recommend it for your approval.
