WHEREAS, Section 3.02 of the Charter of the City of
Saint Paul requires that the ma.yor designate, with the
advice and consent of the council, an appointive officer
or employee of the city to serve as acting ma.yor during
the absence or disability of the ma.yor; now, therefore,
be it
RESOLVED, that the City Council hereby approves and
consents to the designation by the mayor of Richard Broeker,
employed as Executive Assistant to the Ma.yor, as acting
ma.yor to serve during the absence or disability of the ma.yor,
subject always to the direction and control of the mayor.
