WHEREAS, The City of Saint Paul will incur certain costs in regard to
Sewer Ma intenance in 1g77; and
RHEREAS, the Department of Public Works estimates these costs as follows:

Debt Payment Credit deducted from MWCC Charge g2,924.00
Public Works Sewer Mainte�ance 1,333,000.00

RESOLVED, 'That pursuant to Sect ion 231 ,02 tS1�the Sa i nt Pau 1 Leg i sl at i ve
Code pertaining to Sewer Service Charges (as amended by Ordinance No. 14662,
approved December 1 , 1970) and upon the recommendation of the City Administ�ation,
the Council of the City of Saint Paul does hereby establish the arr�unt and basis
for Sewer Service Charges to be levied and collected during. the year 1g77. The
rate shall apply to all sewer service bills rendered by the City froat and after
January 1 , 1977�. The rate shall be:
l . $ .45 per 100 cu. ft. for the first 100,000 cu. ft.
.43 per 100 cu, ft, for the next 200,000 cu, ft.
� .40 per 100 cu, ft, for the next 200,000 cu, ft.
.365 per 100 cu. ft. for the next 500,000 cu. ft.
.335 per 100 cu, ft, for all over 1 , 000,000 cu, ft.

2. The minimum charges for properties served by sewers during the
year 1g77 shall be based upon water meter sizes and in the
amounts as follows:

FURTHER RESOLVED, That for these properties served by a water meter of
one-inch or less, the Sewer Service Rate Charge for the first quarterly state-
ment rendered by the City for 1977 shall be the rate to be charged the same
property for the remaining quarters of the year 1977.
FINALLY RESOLVED, That the receipts derived from the above rates be used
for estimated Sewer Service Costs.
