RESOLVED, That the Council of the City of Saint Paul does hereby
approve application for abatement of special assessment for refuse
collection, said application having been made by Raymond K. Salaba
for his property at 658 Burlington Road, the application being
approved because the owner did not order the refuse collection
service, and the City Clerk is hereby directed to transmit a copy
of this resolution to the Ramsey County Department of Property
Taxation.

Abatement
Dear Mr. Segal :
The refuse collection assessment on 658 Burlington Rd, resuited
from services rendered Janua ry 13, 1974 to July 13. 1975. The
current owner of the property, Raymond Salaba, did not request .
this service. The renter who did request the service claimed
to have canceled one year prior to the actual cancel date of
July 13, 1975. We are unable to locate this customer, Edward
Goodijohn, Jr. , and, therefore, the possibility of coTlection
is doubtful .
I am, therefore, recommending the abatement of this assessment.
