WHEREAS, the Saint Paul Division of Parks and Recreation holds a 3.2 Malt beer '
license at Midway Stadium; and
WHEREAS, Laws of Minnesota 1997, Chapter 129, Article 1, Section 10, duly adopted
by the City Council pursuant to Minn. Stat. 645A21, permits the City to authorize the use ofthe
license by persons who have contracted with the city to sell or serve 3.2 beer on property owned
by the city and under the jurisdiction of the division with the approval of the Council; and
WHEREAS, the Saint Paul Saints Northern League Baseball Team will operate all
concessions for Midway Stadium in 2001; now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul Saints Northern League Baseball Team may use the
Division of Parks and Recreation license to se113.2 beer at Midway Stadium in 2001 under the
following terms and conditions:

That prudent care will be taken to insure that all sales are made only to person age
21 or over.
That prudent care will be taken to insure that no sales are made to individuals who
are or who appear to be intoxicated.
3. That the Saint Paul Saints Northern League Baseball Team shall, at all times,
comply with the State of Minnesota and City of Saint Paul statutes, ordinances
and regulations pertaining to the sale of 3.2 beer.

4. That the Saint Paul Saints Northern League Baseball Team shall provide liquor
liability insurance in the amount of One Million Dollars for the term of their
Agreement with the City. A certificate of insurance naming the City of Saint Paul
as an additional insured shall be provided to the Division of Parks and Recreation
prior to any sale of 3.2 beer.

3.2 beer will be availa,ble to those of age attending Saints games and other Stadium events. The City will receive
revenue from these sales as outlined in the Agreement between the City and the Saint Paul Saints.
