WHEREAS, Ransom Simmons d/b/a Ransom & Sons Construction,
Inc. , has applied for a building contractors license; and
WHEREAS, the applicant had previously been the holder of
such a license in the City of Saint Paul, which license was
revoked by the Council after a full hearing before the License
Committee; and
WHEREAS, the applicant applied in early 1977 for re-issuance
of said license, and was denied; and
WHEREAS, the applicant was accorded a re-hearing.before the
License Coc�.nittee November 9, 1977, to again request issuance
of said license, and presented testimony relative to his fi-
nancial stability and bonding; and
WHEREAS, the applicant was willing to accept and did consent
to the imposition of reasonable conditions upon the issuance of
the license, which conditions are set out below; now, therefore,
be it
RESOLVED, that a building contractor' s license is hereby
issued to Ransom Simmons d/b/a Ransom & Sons Construction, Inc. ,
upon the following express conditions:
1. The licensee shall notify the License Inspector
of � each job and building contract for work in
Saint Paul at or before beginning work on the
job or under the contract; and

2. The licensee shall provide the License Inspector
with the name and address of the customer on each
such job or contract, and permit the License
Inspector to provide each such customer with the
standard H.R.A. Evaluation Card used for H.R.A.
Rehabilitation Contracts; and
3. The licensee is strongly urged to obtain a bond in
an amount higher than that provided for in the
Building Contractors' Licensing Ordinance; and
4. The License Committee will review the performance
and fitness of the licensee in eleven months, at
its regular meeting October 18, 1978, or such other
meeting in October as the Committee may designate,
and so notify the licensee.
