1 RESOLVED, that, upon execution and delivery of a release in full to the City of Saint Paul,
2 the proper City officers are hereby authorized and directed to pay, from the Tort Liability
3 Fund, 09081-0511, to Tom Egerman, the sum of$8,500.00 in full settlement of his bodily
4 injury claim for damages sustained on January 30, 1995 as a result of an accident with a City-
5 owned vehicle at or near Snelling and Grand avenues.

On January 30, 1995 a City of Saint Paul squad car, driven by Samuel Sontoya, proceeded
through a red light and into the intersection of Snelling Avenue and Grand Avenue,
colliding with a 1985 Volkswagon, owned and driven by Tom Egerman. Mr. Egerman had a green
light and was proceeding South on Snelling Avenue. As a result of the collision,
Mr. Egerman's vehicle was a total loss. Mr. Egerman settled his property damage claim for
$2,200.00. I have reached a settlement on his bodily injury claim in the amount of
$8,500.00.
