The Minnesota Legislature has determined the need exists for a system of regionally located Hazardous Materials Emergency Response Teams�
to assist local authorities in protecting the public safety from the effects of a hazardous materials release. Saint Pau(Fire is qualified and is
willing to perform these needed services.
Council Resolution 95-82 authorized the Fire Department to submit a proposal for providing hazardous materials response. Council Resolution
95-1255 further authorized the depardnent to receive hazardous materials response equipment for responding to these incidents.

Additional revenues will be generated by the Saint Paul Fire Department.
