BASS 5 GARDEN LOTS and Hyacinth, being 30 feet in width on each side of the conduit line 6 of the City of Saint Paul, according to the recorded plat of said conduit line filed for 7 record in the office of the County Recorder in and for Ramsey County, Minnesota, which 8 lies north and westerly of the following described"Line A" and southeasterly of the 9 following described "Line B"; 10 11 line A: Beginning at the southwest corner of Lot 23 of said J.W. BASS GARDEN LOTS; 12 thence northerly along the westerly line of said Lot 23 and the northerly extension 13 thereof to the southwest corner of said Lot 18 J.W. Bass Garden Lots for the purpose of havina an established right-of-way for the maintenance and operation of a 30-inch water main that served the downtown area of the City of Saint Paul: and WHEREAS,The Board of Water Commissioners has continuously utilized said sixty�60)foot strip of land since 1884 until the present time for the purpose of maintaining and operatinQ a 30-inch water main; and WHEREAS, In 1996 the Port Authoriry of the City of Saint Paul did acquire all of the property surrounding the said sixty (60) foot strip of land for the purpose of restoration and consolidation of a large parcel of land for redevelopment purposes; and WHEREAS, The Port Authoriri� of the City of Saint Paul did pay the Boazd of Water Commissioners to relocate the 30-inch water main from the sixty (60) foot strip of land into a new city street right-of-way; and - WHEREAS, The si:cty (60) foot strip of land described as; A strip of land 60 feet��-ide over and across Lots 5, 16, 17, 18, 23 and 24 of J.`V.
