5 WHEREAS, the Saint Paul City Council adopted a resolution on October 9, 1996 suspending
6 the Liquor Off Sale, Original Container and Cigarette licenses (license ID No. 13653) held by
7 JMS Investments, Inc., d/b/a Lex Liquor Barrel at 451 Lexington parkway North in Saint Paul
8 for a period of three (3) days, with one day suspended for 18 months; and

10 WHEREAS, the effective date of the suspension commenced at 12:01 a.m. on Wednesday,
11 October 30, 1996 for the violation of Sale of Alcohol to an Underage Person; and
12
13 WHEREAS, licensee has requested that they be permitted to serve the same length of
14 suspension, but commencing effective at 12:01 a.m. on Wednesday, October 23, 1996; now,
15 therefore, be it

17 RESOLVED, that the Liquor Off Sale, Original Container and Cigarette licenses (license ID
18 #13653) held by JMS Investments, Inc., d/b/a Lex Liquor Barrel and located at 451 Lexington
19 Parkway North, Saint Paul, are hereby suspended for a period of two (2) days, commencing at
20 12:01 a.m. on Wednesday, October 23, 1996, for the violation of"Sale of Alcoholic
21 Beverages to an Under Age Person" from August 20, 1996, with the third day remaining
22 suspended for a period of eighteen months.
