WHEREA.S, The Cauncil ha� heard all per�on�, objection� and recr>mmendation�
pertaining to said prapased improvement and has fully cansidered the same; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, Thet the Council of the City of Saint Paul does hereby order thet th�
aboee-de�cribed improvement be made, and the praper City officer� are hereby directed
and sutharized ta praceed with the improvement; and be it
F'CTRTHER RESOLVED, That upon the completion af said improvement, the proper City

arious neighborhood district councils,business associations,property owners and staff,the Council approved
oth the construction of these systems and their operation by the City on an assessment basis. It is required
hat a public hearing be held each year for both the estimated operating costs and then the actual operating
osts. The first above-standard lighting system began with the Lowertown system in 1983. These systems hav
'ncreased at a rate of about 2 s stems er ear since then.

alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereaf is $3, 4q8
financed by a'�e9�ments only.
2. That a public hearing be had on seid improvemex�t on the 9th day of
October, 1996, at 4 ;30 o'clock P.M., in the Council Chamber' of the City
Hall and Court House Building in the City of �aint Paul.
