WHEREAS,The City of Police Department has recently created the East Metro Gang Task Force which has resu►ted in a
2 shortage of space to house that unit,and

4 WHEREAS,the Police Department's plan will move the FORCE unit(approximately 35 people)to the old Eastern District Oftice at
5 7th and Bates and move the Gang unit into the space now occupied by the FORCE unit,and

7 WHEREAS,the Police Departments K-9 CIB remodeling/expansion project will be terminated and the$130,000 will be placed into CIB
8 contingency,now therefore be it

10 RESOLVED,by the Council of the City of Saint Paul,upon recommendation of the Mayor and advice of the Long Range Capital
11 Improvement Budget Committee,that the Capital Improvement Budget,as heretofore adopted and amended by this Council is hereby
12 further amended in the fotlowing particular:
