2 WHEREAS, Minn. Stat. § 471.705, subd. 1 a (1994), provides that a governing body
3 of a public employer may by majority vote in a public meeting decide to hold a closed
4 meeting to consider strategy for labor negotiations; and
5
6 WHEREAS, it is necessary for the Council of the City of Saint Paul to meet and
7 discuss various labor negotiation issues; now, therefore, be it
8
9 RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Saint Paul will hold a closed meeting to
10 consider strategy for labor negotiations pursuant to the provisions of Minn. Stat. § 471.705,
11 subd. la (1994), said meeting to be held on December 11, 1996, at 2:30 p.m. in the Council
12 Conference Room; and be it
13
14 FURTHER RESOLVED, that the proceedings of the said closed meeting will be taped
15 and such tape shall be preserved in accordance with Minn. Stat. § 471.705, subd. 1 a.
