RESOLVED, That upon execution and delivery of a
release in full to the City, in a form to be approved
by the City Attorney, the proper City officers are
hereby authorized and directed to pay out of the Tort
Liability Fund 09070-511-000 , to:
l. Farmers Insurance Group and Ronald F. Lilly the
sum of $643.19 in full settlement of their claim
of damages sustained on or about June 20 , 1978, as
more particularly set out in a communication to
the City Council on July 18, 1978.
2. Frederick C. Richter the sum of $79.50 in full
settlement of his claim of damages sustained on
or about August 28, 1978, as more particularly
set out in a communication to the City Council on
September 14, 1978.
3. Mrs. Ethel A. Hansen the sum of $152.90 in full
settlement of her claim of damages sustained on
or about August 2, 1978, as more particularly set
out in a communication to the City Council on
September 22, 1978 .
4. Jean Hasten the sum of $320 .82 in full settlement
of her claim of damages sustained on or about
December 19, 1977, as more particularly set out
in a communication to the City Council on August 29 ,
1978.
5. Ethel M. Gierok the sum of $1,164 . 52 in full
settlement of her claim of damages sustained on
or about June 22, 1978, as more particularly set
out in a communication to the City Council on

CLAIMS AGAINST CITY OF SAINT PAUL BY
FARMERS INSURANCE GROUP AND RONALD F.
LILLY; FREDERICK C. RICHTER; MRS. ETHEL A.
HANSEN; JEAN HASTEN; AND ETHEL M. GIEROK
Claimanst, Farmers Insurance Group and Ronald F. Lilly, request
reimbursement for damages to Mr. Lilly's automobile. Farmers
Insurance Group is Mr. Lilly's insurance carrier. The automobile
was damaged when a large limb fell on the car during tree revrioval
at Mr. Lilly's address. This office approves the settlement of
Farmers Insurance Group and Mr. Lilly' s claim in the amount of
$643.19 .
Claimant, Frederick C. Richter, requests reimbursement for damages
to his Schwedler Maple tree. The tree was damaged when a City
crew dropped a felled elm tree on the Maple. This office approves
the settlement of Mr. Rich ter's claim in the amount of $79. 50 .
Claimant, Mrs. Ethel A. Hansen, requests reimbursement for damages
to her house roof and gutters as a result of a City of Saint Paul
tree trimming crew dropped a limb on the house. This office appr�ves
the settlement of Mrs. Hansen's claim in th e amount of $152.90.
Claimant, Jean Hasten, was involved in an automobile accident with
a City of Saint Paul, Depart�nent of Public Works, vehicle on
December 19, 1977. E�enses are for the repair of the damaged
vehicle. This office approves the settlement of Ms. Hasten's
claim in the amount of $320 .82.
Claimant, Ethel M. Gierok, was involved in an automobile accident
with a City of Saint Paul , Department of Public Works , vehicle on
June 22, 1978. Expenses are for th e repair of the damaged vehicle.
This office approves the settlement of Ms. Gierok's claim in the
amount of $1,164 .52.
