RESOLVED, that upon execution and delivery of a release in
full to the City of Saint Paul and James Smith, the proper City
officers are hereby authorized and directed to pay out of the
Tort Liability Fund 09070-511-000 to: Russell E. Sloan the sum
of $500 in full settlement of the lawsuit of Russell E, Sloan vs .
James Smith and City of Saint Paul, a municipal corporation, for
dama.ges sustained on September 16, 1977, as more particularly set
out in a communication to the �City Council on October 11, 1977,
and as more particularly set out in the plaintiff's complaint in
the District Court action above-named.

RE: Compromise and settlement of Russell E, Sloan
v. James Smith and City of Saint Paul, a
municipal corporation.
Plaintiff requested reimbursement for dama.ges for personal
injury resulting from an incident on or about September 16,
1977, at West Seventh Street and Otto Street in Saint Paul.
This office approves the settlement of this lawsuit in the
amount of $500.
