2 WIIEREAS, the Saint Paul Police Department will enter into agreements with the American Lung Association
3 and Ramsey County for undercover police services needed to target underage tobacco use; and

5��HEREAS, the American Lung Association will reimburse the Saint Paul Police Department for services and
6 supplies needed to conduct the undercover work; and
7
8 WHEREAS, police services provided to and reimbursed by the American Lung Associarion are not included in
9 the Saint Paul Police Department's 2001 budget; and

11 WHEREAS, The Mayor pursuant to Secrion 10.07.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that
12 there are available for appropriation funds of $66,558 in excess of those estimated in the 2000 budget; and
13
14 ��IiEREAS, The Mayor recommends that the following addition be made to the 2001 budget:
