Addition of the following to the 15-MINUTE Parking Meters: One meter on the north side of Fourth Street 54 feet west of St. Peter Street; two meters on the north side of Exchange Street 275 and 295 feet west of St. Peter Street respectively; four meters on the west side of Wabasha Street 25, 45, 67, and 88 feet north of Fifth Street respectively. 2. Deletion of the following from the 15-MINUTE Parking Meters: One meter on the north side of Ninth Street 25 feet west of Wabasha Street; one meter on the south side of Ninth Street 60 feet west of Wabasha Street; one meter on the west side of W. Seventh Street 130 feet west of St. Peter Street; one meter on the west side of Wall Street 32 feet south of Seventh Street; three meters on the east side of St. Peter Street 10, 32, and 85 feet north of Ninth Street respectfvely; and one meter on the north side of Fourth Street 10 feet east of Wabasha Street. 3• Addition of the following to the ONE-HOUR Parking Meters: North side of Eighth Street from Minnesota Street to Jackson Street. 4. Deletion of the foilawing from the ONE-HOUR Parking Meters: North side of Sixth Street from Washington Street to Market Street (two meters) . 5. Deletion of the follawing from the TWO-NOUR Parking Meters: South side of Ninth Street from Wabasha Street to Cedar Street (nine meters) . PURPOSE AND RATIONALE FOR THIS ACTION: The deletion of two 15 minute parking meters on the east side of St. Peter Street 10 and 32 feet north of Ninth Street and one 15 minute parking meter on the east side of St. Peter Street 85 feet north of Fourth Street were for the extenslon of existing cab stands. And, also, the deletion of the 15 minute meter on the north side of Fourth Street 10 feet east of Wabasha Street was for the establishment of a cab stand. The addition of the 15 minute parking meter on the north side of Fourth Street 54 feet east of Wabasha Street was done in connection with the cab stands. These changes were made because of the loss of cab stands due to the Seventh Place closure. The addition of two 15 minute parking meters on the north side of Exchange Street 275 and 295 feet west of St. Peter Street was requested by St. Joseph's Hospital for parking turnover and to stop parking in the entrance to the hospita) for fi�e safety. , � � -2- � -'J. The addition of the four parking meters on the west side of Wabasha Street 25, 45, 67, and 88 feet north of Fifth Street respectively were because of a request from local businessmen through Councilman Tedesco with concurrence of the cab inspector. The remaining additions and/or deletions were due to the Seventh Place closure.
