WHEREAS, Jack Adams died suddenly on Thursday,
September 28; and
WHEREAS, Jack Adams was serving as vice president
of the St. Paul Trades and Labor Assembly, vice president
and executive board member of Plumbers Local #34, and has
been a long-standing member of various labor committees ,
civic organizations , and political efforts in St. Paul ;
and
WHEREAS, Jack Adams had established a respected
reputation in St. Paul for his leadership in the labor
movement, his dedication to the advancement of human
rights, and his tireless efforts on behalf of working
people everywhere; so, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that this Council , on behalf of itself
and the people of St. Paul , expresses its deep sadness
, over the loss of Jack Adams and extends to his wife and
� � family our most-sincere expression of sympathy and regret.
