WHEREAS, the Mayor has nominated and appointed Donald E.
Nygaard to be Director of the Department of Public Works for
the City of Saint Paul, to commence on the effective date of
this resolution; and
WHEREAS, Donald Nygaard meets all requirements imposed by
the Administrative Code of the City of Saint Paul; and
WHEREAS, the Charter of the City of Saint Paul requires
that the Council must advise and consent to the appointment
of the Director of the Department of Public Works; now, there-
fore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Saint Paul does
hereby concur in and consent to the appointment of Donald E.
Nygaard as Director of the Department of Public Works.
