The incumbent (and only) Driver Operator is testing for a Heavy Equipment Operator vacancy. For this reason,
Local 120 requested the manner in which the primary Driver function would be filled in order to maintain the
balance of employee representation in the Tri-Councii.

This agreement is entered into by the City of Saint Paul (City) and the Tri-Council (L7nion) for the
purpose of amending the current collective bargaining agreement, specifically Appendix D, A4, c.
Effective with the signing ofthis agreement, the City and the Union agree to the following language
which wi11 replace the current language of Appendix D, A4, c and will be incorporated into the next
collective bargaiuing agreement:
c. In the event that the current *Driver-Operator position becomes vacant, the Parks
Division shall designate the resuiting vacancy as a Bid Driver vacancy to be filled by
the most senior qualified Parks Worker. The Bid Driver base rate shall be $0.25 per
hour above the Parks Worker base rate.
