RESOLVED� That upon execution and delivery of a
release in full to the City, in a form to be approved
by the City Attorney, the proper City officers are
hereby authorized and directed to pay out of the Tort
Liability Fund 09070-511-000, to:
1. Jeanne M. Casby the sum of $42. 50 in full settle-
ment of her claim of damages sustained on or
about May 21, 1978, as more particularly set out
in a communication to the City Council on July 6,
1978.
2. Alvin W. Bottiger and his attorney, R. M. Bracewell,
the sum of $7,000.00 in full settlement of their
claim of damages sustained on or about September 6,
1977, as more particularly set out in a communica-
tion to the City Council on October 11, 1977.
3. Mrs. Helen M. Lundgren the sum of $20 .00 in full
settlement of her claim of damages sustained on
or about June 16, 1978, as mare particularly set
out in a communication to the City Council on
June 29 , 1978.
4. Margaret L. Therrien the sum of $179 .00 in full
settlement of her claim of damages sustained on
or about October l9, 1977, as more particularly
set out in a communication to the City Council on
January 12, 1978.

CLAIMS AGAINST THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL
BY JEANNE M. CASBY; ALVIN W. BOTTIGER
AND HIS ATTORNEY, R. M. BRACEWELL;
MRS. HELEN M. LUNDGREN; AND MARGARET L.
THERRIEN
Claimant, Jeanne M. Casby, requests reimbursement for medical
expenses incurred as a result of her son Chad Casby , being
bitten by a rabbit at the Como Park Children's Zoo. This
office approves the settlement of Mrs. Casby 's claim in the
amount of $42. 50 .
Claimants, Alvin W. Bottiger and his attorney, R. .M. Bracewell,
request reimbursement for medical expenses and personal injuries
sustained by Mr. Bottiger on 5eptember 6, 1977. Mr. Bottiger
was a passenger in a vehicle which collided with a City of
Saint Paul , Department of Public Works street sweeper at
Shepard Road and Sibley Street. This office approves the settle-
ment of Mr. Bottiger's claim in the amount of $7,000.00.
Claimant, Mrs. Helen M. Lundgren, requests reimbursement for
damages to her freshly painted garage. The garage was splattered
with mud when a City of Saint Paul truck was flushing the alley
behind her garage. Expenses are for her time trying to clean
garage. This office approves the settlement of Mrs. Lundgren's
claim in the amount of $20 .00.
Claimant, Margaret L. Therrien, requests reimbursement for medical
expenses incurred when she fell on sidewalk owned by the City of
Saint Paul on October 19, 1977. The l�cation of the incident is
on Grand Avenue between Macalester and Cambridge. This office
approves the settlement of Ms. Therrien's claim in the amount of
$179 .00 .
