1 WHEREAS, pursuant to Council Fite #86-1 i24, residentia{ permit parking was previously instituted on behalf ot
2 the residents residing in the University of St. Thomas College area in accordance with Chapter 168 of the Saint Paul
3 Legislative Code; and

5 WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Saint Paul previously found that the aforementioned residential area did
6 not have sufficient off street parking to accommodate the residential parking needs of the residents as well as the
7 parking needs of non-residents who use non-residential facilities in the area which lack sufificient off-street parking; and
9 WHEREAS, an affected resident has subsequently submitted a petition requesting that certain permit parking
10 restrictions be installed in this block; �

12 WHEREAS, Public Works staff has investigated the basis for the petition and concluded and recommended
13 adoption of the change requested in the petition; p„�

15 NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the following parking regulations shall be established in the
16 residential area near the University of St. Thomas as follows:

8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. Monday - Friday, Area 15�n the following street:
West side of Exeter Place from Riverwood Place to � 50 feet south.
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED, that these parking regulations will be in effect and be enforced thirty (30) days after
Cfty Council approval.
