WHEREAS, the Council is desirous of assuring to the extent
possible that the owners of properties which are vacant, abandoned,
dilapidated, and/or hazardous and dangerous receive actual notice
of Council actions involving said property; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Council hereby requests that the Division
of Housing and Building Code Enforcement use both first class ma.il
and certified ma.il (return receipt requested) where mail notice is
required or undertaken to notify said owners of property.
