271673 WHITE - CiTV CLERK ^w���� PINK - FINANCE COUIICII % r CANARV - DEPARTMENT GITY OF SAINT PAUL File NO. ��f i BLUE - MAVOR il Resolution Presented By • • Referred To Committee: Date Out of Committee By � Date WHEREAS, Pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 1976, Section 462.353, a municipality may carry on comprehensive municipal planning activities for guiding the future development and improvement of the municipality; and WHEREAS, Pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 1976, Section 462.355, the City Council may adopt and amend a comprehensive plan or portion thereof after recommendation by the Planning Commission; and Wf�REAS, The Planning Commission has adopted and recommended adoption by the City Council of a plan entitled "Plan for Bicycles" (a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit A) as a portion of the comprehensive plan; and WHEREAS, The following action by the City Council to adopt this "Plan for Bicycles" in no manner evi�lences an intent to adopt the Comprehensive Plan of 1963 or other portions thereof as recom- mended by the Planning Commission; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the City Council adopts the plan entitled "Plan for Bicycles" as an amendment to the comprehensive plan, subject to the review and approval by the Metropolitan Council as required under Minnesota Statutes 1976, Section 473.175.
