WHEREAS, It has been deemed advisable and desirabte for the State of
Minnesota to construct an Ornamental Street Lighting System for the City of
St. Paul at the Trunk Highway 61 - Warner Road intersection; and
WHEREAS, Said construction project is on a Trunk Highway (T.H. 61) and
ts eligible for financing using Municipai State Aid Funds (M.S.A. Project
164-010-06) ;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That we do hereby appropriate from
our Municipat State Aid Funds the sum of $16,974.43 to apply toward the
financing of said construction and request the Cortanissioner of Highways
to approve this authorization.

ACTION REQUESTED:
Approve the attached Caunci.l Resolution authoriYing the expenditure of
Municipal State Aid Funds off the M.S.A. RoadNay System.
PURPO�E AND RATIONALE FOR THIS ACTION:
State Agreement No. 57550 authorized the Minnesota HigM�+ay Department to �
construct an Ornamental St�eet lighting �ystem oh T.H. 61 at 1��rn�r Road
with the understanding St. Paui would pay afor it with M.S.A. Funds. Th� '
proJect is now complete and the State has biiled St. Paul $16,974.43 for
the system. The attach�d Council Resolution authorTzes the transfer �'�
funds to cover this obiigation.
