� WHEREAS, the current speed limit on Como Avenue between Dale Street and Gateway Drive is
2 35 miles per fiour; and
3 WHEREAS, due to the residential nature of this portion of Como Avenue, pedestrian safety and
4 neighborhood livability are compromised with excessive vehicle speeds; now therefore be it
5 RESOLVED that in accordance with Section 169.14, Subdivision 5, of the Minnesota Motor Vehicle
6 and Traffic Laws, the Council of the City of Saint Paul hereby requests the Commissioner of the
� Minnesota Department of transportation to authorize the City of Saint Paul to revise the existing
8 speed zone to 30 miles per hour on Como Avenue between Dale Street and Gateway Drive.
