In the matter of hazardous building� being
that two and one half sto=y duplex residence known
and described as 98 W. Magnolia in the City of
Saint Paul and situated upon those premises legally
deseribed as Lot 3, Block 2, J. F. Eisenmengers
Addition according to the plat on file and of
record in the oftice of the Register of Deeds in
and fcr the County of Ramsey, State of M innesota.
WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution, C. F. No. 270423, appr�ed
January 20, 1978, a public hearing was duly held on January 26,
1978 before the Council of the City of Saint Paul, said hearing
pertaining to the condit ion of the structure located at 98 W.
Magnolia, Saint Paul, Minneaota; and
WfiEREAS. upon the facts presented at the aaid hearing consist-
ing of photographs, inspection reports and the recommendations of
the Building Dep�rtment, it is found and determined by the City
Gbuncil that according to the records and files in the office of
the Register of Deeds the last record owner of the above described
property is Vi41a Witte, 1505 W. Co. Rd. B-2, Roseville, Minnesota;
and a lien holder of interest is AAA Electric and Neon Service Inc.
dba Ace Electric and Neon Serviee, 641 N. Snelling, St. Paul,
Minnesata; and that it is further determined that the above described
building constitutes a hazardous building within the definition af
M innesota Statutes Section 463.15 for the �ollawing reaeons:
a. This building because af age, deterioration, lack of
proper maintenance and vandalism is deemed beyond feasible rehabilita-
tion;

c. The conditions outlined above conetitute a public hazard;
d. The owner has made no attempt to satisfactorily repair the
damage;
e. The continued vacant and boarded up �anditian coz�tributes a
blighting influence on the neighborhoad;
now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That in aacordance with M innesota Statutes Seetions
463.15 through 463.25, and based upon the foregoing findings of the
City Council, the Council of the City of Saint Paul does hereby make
the following Order:
ORDER
I.. The owner of the nbove described building �hall make the
satne safe and not detrimental to the public peace, health, safety
and welfare by having the said building razed nnd the materials
therefrom removed fram the premises within thirty (30) days fram the
date of the service of this Order;
2. Unless such Qorrective action is taken to comply with thi�
Order ar an answer served upon the City of Saint Paul and filed in
the Off�.ce of the Clerk of the District Court of Ramsey c�unty,

M innesota, within twenty (20) days from the date of the service of
this Order, a Motion for 8ummary Enforcement of this Order to raze
and ranove the s�id building will be made to the Ramsey Oounty
District Court;
3. Tn the event that the building is to be ra�ed by the City
af Saint Paul pursuant to judgment of the District Court, all
personal property or fixtures of any kind which may unreasonably
interfere with the razing and removal of this buflc3ing shall be
r�.ved within ten (10) days frc�m the entry of judgment; and if not
so remaved, the City of Saint Paul shall remove and di�spose of auch
personal property and fixtures as provided by law;
4. If the City of Saint Paul is compelled to tnke any
corrective action herein, all neces�ary costs expended by the City
wi11 be assessed against the above deecribed real estate and collected
as other taxes; and be it
FURTHER RE30LVEDr That a certified copy of this resolution and
incorparated Order herein be served upon the last record owners of
the above described property in the manner provided by law.
