RESOLVED, That upon execution and delivery of a
release in full to the City, in a form tA be approved
by the City Attorney, the proper City officers are
hereby authorized and directed to pay out of the Tort
Liability Fund 09070-511-000, to:
1. John Murphy the sum of $349 .49 in full settle-
ment of his claim of damages sustained on or about
November 25, 1977, as more particularly set out in a
communication to the City Council on December 2c0,
1977.
2. District 77 IAM Building, Association the sum of
$85 .00 in full settlement of its claim of damages
sustained on or about November 3, 1977, as more
particularly set out in a communication tn the
City Council on November 29, 1977 .

M E M O R A N D U M
CLAIMS AGAINST CITY OF SAINT PAUL
BY JOHl�i MURPHY AND DISTRICT 77 IAM
BUILDING, ASSOCIATION
Claimant, John Murphy, was involved in an automobile accident
with a City of Saint Paul, Department of Public Works, vehicle
on November 25, 1977. Expenses are for the repair of the damaged
vehicle. This office approves the settle�nent of Mr. Murphy's
claim in the amount of $349 .49 .
Claimant, Districtt 77 IAM Building, Association, requests
reimbursement for damages and in�convenience caused when their
sewer backed up. Investigation shows the sewer line was cleaned
prior to the incident and debris was loosened up. It was not
caught on the grate at the pumping station. This office approves
the settlement of the District 77 IAM Building, Association's
claim in the amount of $85 .00 .
