WHEREAS, The Corrwnissioner of Transportation for the State of Minnesota has
caused to be prepared: plans, special provisfons, and specifications for the
improvement of Trunk Highway No. 1 , renumbered as Trunk Highway No. 61 , within
the corporate limits of the City of St. Pau} , from 42 feet south of Larpenteur
Avenue to No rth Corp Limits; and,
WHEREAS, Said plans are on file in the office of the Department of
Transportatton, St. Paul , Minnesota; being marked, labeled, aad identified as
S.P. 6222-85 (61�1) ; and,
= WHEREAS, Said special provisions are on f11e in the office of the Department
of Transportation, St. Paul, Minnesota; being marked, labeled, and identified
as: S.P. 6222-85 (61�1) ; and, which together with the "Minnesota Department of
Transpo�tation Standard Specifications for Highway Const�uction", dated 1978,
will govern, and which ere on file in the office of the Commissioner of
Transportation, constitute the specifications for said improvement of Trunk
Highway No. t, renumbered as Trunk Highway No. b1 ; and,
WHEREAS, Copies of said plans and special provisions as so marked, labeled,
and identifted are also on file in the office of the Director of Public-Works;-
and, -
WHEREAS, The te�m, "said plans and special provisions", as hereinafter used
in the body of this Resolution will be deemed and intended to mean, refer to, and
incorporate the pians and special provisions in the foregoing recitals
particularty identified and described; and,
WNEREAS, The Commtssioner of Transportation desires in the interest of
public safety that any and all parking of vehicles, if such perking is permitted
within the corporate limits of the City of St. Paul, on said T�unk Highway No. 1,
renumbered as Trunk Highway No. 61 , wiii be ��arallel with the curb adJacent to
the pighway and will be at least 20 feet fran any crosswalk.

NOW, THEN, BE IT RESOLVED, That said plans and special provtsions for the
i�rovement of Trunk Highway No. 1 , renurt�ered as Trunk Highway No. 61 , within
the corporate limits of the City of St. Paul , be and hereby are approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the City of St. Paul does hereby agree to
require the parking of ail vehicles, if such parking is permitted within the
corporate limits of said City, on said Trunk Highway No. 1, renumbered as
Trunk Highway No. 61, will be parallel with the curb adjacent to the highway,
and at least 20 feet from any crosswalks on all public streets intersecting
said trunk highway.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the elevations and grades as shown in said
plans and special provisions are hereby approved and consent is hereby given
to any and all changes in grade occasioned by the construction of Trunk
Highway No. 1 , renumbered as Trunk Highway No. 61 , in accordance with said
plans and special provisions.
