An administrative Resolution amending the Civil
Service Rules.
WHEREAS, it is appropriate and desirable to amend the Civi1
Service Rul.es to eliminate the use of a numerical service rating system
for purposes of examination scores for Police Department positions;
now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Civil Service Rules be amended in Section
11 D thereof so that the begi.nni.ng of the ninth paragraph in said Section
11 D shall read:
"In any examination for .�o-13ee-a�.d-Fire positi.ons in which the
subject of service is used for promotional candidates, t,he
following standards for conversion of Performance Appraisal
Ratings to Service Credits shall be used: " .
