Speci�ically, I had deleted a part o�P Section (B) dealing with the extension of rain checks and inserted a new phrase. At third reading of the amended ordinance T asked for a continuance as Rick Renner of the Chamber of Commerce had some questions. After meeting wi:th Rick, Alice Murphy and a representative of Dayton's, i.t was agreed that the language as I had altered it in Section (B) would 6e agreeable to the retailers. In addition, and after agreement had 6een reached with the retailers, we again amended the ordinance and added a phrase in Section (C�(3) . Attached is the ordinance in its final form that I would like placed on the Council agenda for third reading and public heari.ng on Thursday, �uly 20.
