WHEREAS, the City Council did approve the Community D�velopment Block
Grant Year IV Program and Housing Assistance Plan on January 5, 1978, Council
File No. 270331 ; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did authorize and direct the Mayor to submit
said Community Development Year IV Program application to the Department of
Housing and Urban Development in such form as prescribed by the regulations of
said department; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Housing and Urban Development has completed its
review of the City's application for Community Development Year IV funds and
approved the Year IV Program with certain changes, deletions, and conditions,
as stated in the attached letter from said Department to Mayor George Latimer;
now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Saint Paul does accept the
Community Development Block Grant for Year IV from the Department of Housing
and Urban Development as stat�d on the attached form, HUD No. 7015.5 for the
operation and implementation of the City's Community Development Year IV Program;
and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the proper City officials are authorized and
directed to execute the grant agreement and contract between the City and the
Department of Housing and Urban Development for the Community Development Block
Grant Year IV Program.
