WHEREAS , Section 9. 02 of the St. Paul City Charter pro�ides
that the Fire Chie� shall serve for a term of two years coricurrent
with that of the Mayor; and
WHEREAS, The present term of the Fire Chief will expire on
June 5, 1978; and
WHEREAS, Pursuant to authorization by law and upon the advice
of Council, the Mayor has designated Stephen F. Conroy to continue
as Fire Chief of the City of Saint Paul; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the appointment of Stephen F. Conroy to the
position of Fire Chief for a two year term to commence June 6 ,.
1978 is hereby approved and ratified.
