RESOLVED, That upon execution and delivery of a
release in full to the City, in a form to be approved
by the City Attorney, the proper City officers are
hereby authorized and directed to pay out of the Tort
Liability Fund 09070-511-000, to:
l. Daniel E. Deck the sum of $32. 50 in full settle-
ment of his claim of damages sustained on or about
February 12, 1978, as more particula�ly set out in a
communication to the City Council on March 21, 1978.
2. Larry Schaffer the sum of $36 .00 in full settle-
ment of his claim of damages sustained on or about
March 17, 1978, as more particularly set out in a
communication to the City Council on April 6, 1978.

M E M O R A N D U M
CLAIMS AGAINST CITY OF SAINT PAUL
BY DANIEL E. DECK' AND LARRY SCHAFFER
Claimant, Daniel E. Deck, requests reimbursement for injuries
sustained when he was struck in the head with a falshlight
by a City of Saint Paul policeman. The incident occurred on
February 12, 1978, following an automobile accident. This
office approves the settlement of Mr. Deck's claim in the
amount of $32. 50 .
Claimant, Larry Schaffer, requests reimbursement for towing
charges which were incurred when his vehicle was improperly
impounded. The vehicle was parked in the Como Jr. High
School parking lot. Mr. Schaffer had the permission of the
school principal to park the vehicle there. This office
approves the settlement of Mr. Schaffer' s claim in the amount
of $36.00 .
