RESOLVED, That upon execution and d ivery of a
release in full to the City, in a form to be approved
by the City Attorney, the proper City officers are
hereby authorized and directed to pay out of the Tort
Liability Fund 09070-511-000 , to :
l. Mrs. Marjorie B. Heldridge the sum of $113.18 in
full settlement of her claim of damages sustained
on or about March 18, 1978, as more particularly
set out in a communication to the City Council on
March 28, 1978.
2. John Griffin the sum of $295.53 in full settle-
ment of his claim of damages sustained on or
about June 22, 1978, as more particularly set out
in a communication to the City Council on July 18,
1978.
3. Mrs. Arthur Johnson the sum of $25. 00 in full
settlement of her claim of damages sustained on
or about November 29 , 1977, as more particularly
set out in a communication to the City Council on
June 20 , 1978.
4. Vernon G. Plankers the sum of $569.00 in full
settlement of his claim of damages sustained in
1977, as more particularly set out in a communi-
cation to the City Council on October 25, 1977.

CLAIM AGAINST CITY OF SAINT PAUL
BY MRS. MARJORIE B. HELDRIDGE,
JOHN GRIFFIN, MRS. ARTHUR JOHNSON,
and VERNON G. PLANKERS
Claimant, Mrs. Marjorie B. Heldridge, requests reimbursement
for medical expenses incurred when she fell on a city side-
walk on March 18, 1978. This office approves the settlement
of Mrs. Heldridge's claim in the amount of $113.18.
Claimant, John Griffin, requests reimburse�nent for the repair
of a sign at his business location. The sign was damaged by
a City of Saint Paul, Department of Community Services, vehicle
on June 22, 1978. This office approves the settlement of
Mr. Griffin's claim in the amount of $295.53 .
Claimant, Mrs . Arthur Johnson, requests reimbursement for the
repair of her driveway which was damaged by a City of Saint Paul,
Department of Community Services vehicle on November 29 , 1977.
This office approves the settlement of Mrs. Johnson's claim
in the amount of $25. 00.
Claimant, Vernon G. Plankers, requests reimbursement for damages
to his property when a city sidewalk was installed_in 1977.
Because of the grade of the new sidewalk, Mr. Plankers has a
drainage problem. This office approves the settlement of
Mr. Plankers' claim in the amount of $569.00.
