WHEREAS, The Cortmissioner of Transportation for the State of Minnesota
has caused to be prepared: pians, special provisions, and specifications for
the improvement of Trunk Highway No. 111 , renumbered as Trunk Highway No. 5,
within the corporate limits of the City of St. Paul, at the Misslssippi River
Boulevard Bridge over T.H. 5 (W. Seventh Street) in St. Paul ; and,
WHEREAS, Said pians are on file in the Office of the Department of
Transportatton, St. Paul , Minnesota; being marked, labeled and identified
as: S.P. 6201-9489 �5�111) ; and,
WHEREAS, Said special provisions are on fite in the Office of the Department
of Transportation, St. Paul , Minnesota; being marked, labeled and idenl�ified as:
S.P. 6201-9489 (Sm111) ; and, which, together w1th, the "Minnesota Department of
Nighways Standard Specifications for Highway Construction", dated �January 1, 1972,
as ame�ded by Minnesota Department of Highways Supplemental Specifications. for
Highway Construction, dated April 1 , 1976, will govern, and which are on file
in the Office of the Commissioner of Transportation eonstitute the specifications
for said improvement of Trunk Highway No. 111 , renumbered as Trunk Highway No.
5; and,
WHEREAS, Copies of said plans and special provisions as so marked, labeled
and identified are also on file in the Office of the Director of Public Works;
and,
WHEREAS, The term, said plans and special provisions, as hereinafter used
in the body of this Resolutio� will be deemed and intended to mean, refer to and
incorporate the plans and special provisions i� the foregoing recitals
particularly identified and described; and,

WHEREAS, The Can�nissioner of Transportation desires in the interest of.
public safety that any and ali parking of vehicles, if such parking is permitted �
within the corporate limits of the City of St.Paul , on said Trunk Highway No. 111 ,
renumbered as Trunk Highway No. 5, w�ll be parallel with the curb adjacent to the
highway and will be at least 20 feet from any crosswalk.
NOW, THEN, BE IT RESOLVED, That said plans and special provisions for the
improvement of Trunk Highway No. 111, renumbered as T�unk Highway No. 5, wlthin
the corporate limits of the City of St. Paul, be and hereby are approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the City of St. Paul dces hereby agree to
require the parking of all vehicles, if such parking is permitted within the
corporate limits of said City, on said Trunk Highway No. 111, renu�ered as
Trunk Highway No. 5, wiil be parallel with the curb adjacent to the highway,
and at least 20 feet from any crosswalks on all pub�.ic streets intersecting
sa i d t run k h i ghvvay.
BE IT FURTHER RESQlVED, That the elevations and grades as shown" in said
plans and special provisions are hereby approved and consent is hereby given
to any and all changes in grade occasioned by the construction of Trunk Highway
No. 111, renu�nbered as Trunk Highway No. 5, in accordance with said plans and
speciat provisions.
