WHEREAS, the Native American Multi-Service Center planning group has requested
an additional $8,000 in Community Development funds to complete their planning
project; and
WHEREAS, the Native American Planner, Mr. Henry Greencrow, has indicated that
this will be the last request made of the City by the Native American Planning
group for planning a construction of the Native American Multi-Service Center; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that upon the recommendation of the Mayor, the Council of the City
of Saint Paul does hereby approve the following transfer of Community Development
Year I funds to provide the Native American Multi-Service Center Planning group
an additional and final appropriation of $8,000.

ACTION REQUESTED: approval of budget transfer to add $8,000 to the Native American
project.
PURPOSE AND RATIONALE FOR THIS ACTION: The additional $8,000 will "carry" the Native
American planning. function until June, 1978 at which time they will be able ta
obtain funds from sources other than the City.
PLEASE NOTE: The Native American Planner has notified the City that this will
be their last request for funds for the Multi-Service Center project.
