WHEREAS, Governor Rudy Perpich has donated his salary increase to the
promotion of Bocce Ball ; and
WHEREAS, The League of Minnesota Cities, acting as the Governor's agent,
will use the money to purchase Bocce Ball sets and distribute them to
r�questing cities; and
WHEREAS, Cities with a population over 100,000 may receive a- maximum of
six sets; therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the City Council of the City of Saint Paul requests that
St. Paul be selected to receive a total of six Bocce Ball sets for use at
recreation centers in St. Paul .
