Enclosed please find resQlutlon accepting dedication of the public park in
Central Vi11age Addi�ion made by the Housing and Redevelopment Authority.
Also enclo�ed is a copy of the proposed deed of dedication.
We have exa�ined the proposed dedication and we have reviewed the plans for
this park. We find that they are consistent with the plans that have been
worked out between City staff and the Renewal Division of the Planning and
Economic Deve1opment Dept. and therefore we approve of the dedication.

THIS INDENTURE, made this lOth day of February, 1978 , between the
HOUSI�`.JG AND REDEVELOPI�IEI�T AUTHOP.ITY OF THE CI^lY OF SAINT PAUL, rIINNiSOTA,
a public body corporate and politic, hereinafter referrec� to as the "HRA" ,
and the CITY OF SAINT PAUTk,, a murzicipal corporation, hereinafter referred
to as the "City".

- WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the P-iinnesota r�iunicipal Hous- .
ing and Redevelopment Act, Chapter 487, Laws of Minnesota 1947, as amended,
the HRA has acquired certain lands as part of the Summit University Urban
Renewal Area, Nlinn. A-1-1, in accordance with the Redevelopment Plan for
said project; and �
WHEREAS, the Redevelopnent Pl.an for said project provides for the �
dedication of certain � lands for park purposes; and
�nTHEREAS, in order to carry out said Redevelopment Plan, the HF2.� de-
sires to dedicate to the City as a park the belo�� described.
NOT�7, TiiEREFOP.�, the HFA do2s hereby grant, bargain, quit clait*.i and
convey unto the City forever for park purposes the. parcel of land lying
and being within the County of Ramsey, State of rlinnesota, described as
follo�•�s:
Lot 17, Block T, Central Village Addition
TO HA�'E AND TO HOLD THE SAt-�E, to�ether with al]. hereditaments and
appurtenances thereunto belonging or in anywise rgpertaining thereto to '
the City in trust for use by the public for park purposes. The City
�agrees for itself and its successors and assigns to or of the property
described herein or any part thereof, that the City and such .successors
and ass�gns shallr�•not discriminate upon the basis oi race, color, religion,
sex or national origin in the use of said property. It is intended and
agreed that the foregoing agreement shall be a conven�nt running with the
land, and that such agreement shall be binding to the fullest extent of
law an� ec;uity for the benefit and in favor of and enforceable by the HRA�
i4s success�rs and ussigns, and the linited States of America against the
City, its successors and designs. It is further intended and agreed that
saic� agreer.lent and covenant shall rertain in effect �vithout limitstion as
to time.
