RESOLVED, that upon execution and delivery of a release in
full to the City of Saint Paul, the proper City officers are hereby
authorized and directed to pay out of the Tort Liability Fund
09070-511-000 to Ma.rion S. S, Anderson (Schwinghammer) the sum
of $1,000 in full settlement of the claim against the City in
the lawsuit of Ma.rion S. S, Anderson (Schwinghammer) vs. City
of Saint Paul, a Municipal Corporation, and Metropolitan Transit
Commission, District Court File No. 418503, for dama.ges sustained
on April 27, 1976, as more particularly set out in a communcation
to the City Council on Ma.y 27, 1976, and in the complaint filed
in the above-entitled matter.

RE: Compromise and settlement of Marion S. S,
Anderson (Schwinghammer) vs . City of Saint
Paul, a Municipal Corporation, and Metropolitan
Transit Commission, District Court File No.
418503.
The plaintiff requested reimbursement for dama.ges for personal
injury resulting from an incident on or�:about April 27, 1976,
on the area of sidQwalk approximately 40 feet west of the
southwest corner of East Seventh Street and Ma,ria Avenue
in Saint Paul.
This office approves the settlement of the claim against the
City in the amount of $1, 000. The Metropolitan Transit
Commission has also settled its claim with the plaintiff.
