as 433 Ashland in the City of Saint Paul and
situated upon those premises legally described
as Lot 11, Block 12, Woodland Park Addition
according to the plat on file and of record
in the office of the Register of Deeds in and
for the County of Ramseyf State of Minnesota.
WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution, C. F. No. 271961, approved
October 26, 1978f a pt�blic hearing was duly held on November 9, 1978,
before the Council of the City of Saint Paul, said hearing pertaining
to the conditian of the structure located at 433 Ashlnnd, Saint Paul,
Minnesotat and �
WHEREAS, upon the facts presented at the said hearing consisting
of photographs, inspection reports and the recommendations of the
Building Department, it is found, and determined by the City Council
that according to the records 'and files in the office of the Register
of Deeds the fee owners are John 3unes Walsh, 1554 Lincoln, St. Paul,
M�T 55105; Thomas Pryor, 433 Ashlands St. Paul, MN 55102, and Dunn &
Stringer, Inc., Endicott on 4th Bldg., 141 E. Fourth St. , St. Paul, MN
55�01; ��3.�at Shaw Lumber Co., 217 Como Ave., St. Paul, MN 55103 has a
lien against the property in the amount of $500.93 as of December 1,
1977f that-McQuillan Bros. Plumbing and Heating Co., 415 Selby Ave.,
St. PaLt'�., MN has a lien in the amount of $957.31 as of March 4, 1975;
and that Twin City Federal hns a Iien in the nmount of $11,000.00 as
of February 1, 1962j and that it is further determined that the above
described garage only constitutes a hazardous building within the

RESOI�VED, That in accordance with Minr�eaota Statutes Sections 463.15
through 463.26, and based upon the foregoing findings of the City Council,
the Councii of the City of Saint Paul does hereby mnke the following Orders
ORDER
1, miYa owners of the above described building shall make the
same safe and not detrimental to the public peace, health, safety and
welfare by having the said ga�age razed and the ma terials therefrom
removed from the premises within thirty (30) days from the date of the
service of this Order:

a Moticn for Summary Enforcement of this Order to raze and remove the
said garage will be made to the Ramsey County District Court�
3, In the avent that the building ia to be razed by the City of
Saint Paul pursuant to �udgment of the Diatrict Court, all personal
property or fixtures of any kind which may unreaaonably interfere with
the razing and removal. of this building sha].l be removed within ten
(10) days fram the entry of judgment1 and if not so removed, the City
of Saint Paul shall remove and dispose of auch personal property and

The Division o� Housing and Building Code Enforcement is hereby submitting
its report on the condition of the structure at the l,ocation referred
to above. :
The owners of record are: 1. Fee Owner: John James Walsh, 1554 Lincoln,
St. Pau1, MN 55105. 2. Thoma.s Pryor, 433 Ashland, 5t. �aul, MN 55102.
and' 3. Dunn & Stringer, Inc. , Endicott on 4th Bldg. , 141 E. Fourth,
St. Paul, MN 55101 ,
The iegal description of the property is Lot 11 , Block 12, Woodland
Park Addition.
The bui2ding is a detached multi-car garage of wood frame construction.
This build�ng because of age, deterioration, lack of proper maintenance
and �ire damage is deemed hazardous and beyond feasible rehabilitatian
and should be razed as soon as possible.
Inasmuch as the conditions outlined above constitute a public hazard
and the owner has made no attempt to satisfactorily regair the damage
despite our warnings, and the continued vacant condition con�ributes a
blighting influence on the neighborhood, it is the recommendation of
this Division that this matter be referred�_to the City Attorney' s office
for razing and removal through District Court proceedings.
