RESOLVED, That the proper City officials are hereby authorized
and directed to execute an agreement with the Minnesota Pollution
Control Agency providing for reimbursement to the City for costs
incurred in the collection, storage, transportation and recycling
of abandoned motor vehicles; said contact being authorized by Minn.
Stat. 168B.09, Subd. l, and said contract covering the period of
September 1, 1978 through June 30, 1979.

A resolution will be needed to authorize
this contract, and I have prepared one for pro-
cessing. Perhaps you would want to transmit to
Chief Rowan for his signature, and when this is
accomplished, please process the resolution and
contracts if you find them acceptable.
This is a traditional annual agreement be-
tween the City and the PCA and is strictly for
our benefit in that the reimbursement is for
costs previously assumed by the City itself.
