RESOLVED, That pursuant to the authority contained in Minnesota Statutes, Section
475.71, the Council uf the City of Saint Paul does hereby authorize the Mayor, the
Director of the Department of Finance and Management Services, and the City Clerk
to issue one CI) registered bond of the City of Saint Paul in the amount of $25,000
to Polly & Co. , New York, New York, in exchange for Registered Bonds Numbered 3452 to
3456 inclusive, issued in lieu of Coupon Bearer Bonds described as Civic Center Bonds,
Series 1969A, dated November 1, 1969, maturing November 1, 1985, 6.25%, numbered
71945 to 71949, inclusive; said registered bond to be issued at the office of the
Department of Finance �nd Management Services, and to be done under the supervision
and direction of the Finance Committee; provided, however, that such registered bond
so issued shall not incur any new liability on the City or extend the time of maturity
of the _coupon bonds which have been authorized or issued, and in place of which it is
ordered issued, but shall only bind the City to the same manner and extent as bound
by sa3-d -t�.�ad�, e� $s �dad-� axid b3�..Cha�ter 475, Minnesota Statutes; the
manner of canc�ellation of such coupon bonds and the foxin of registe�ect bond to be as
prescribed by the F,�inance Committee. The Department of Finance and Management
Services is authorized to pay current interest on such registered bond by check.
