F. 231566, Approved January 31, 1967, as Amended Pertain- ing to the Removal of Parking Meters and Placing Other Parking Restrictions on Portions of Seventh Place THE COIINCIL OF THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL DOES HEREBY ORDA IN: Section 1 Parking Meter Zones and parking maters on Seventh Place from St. Pete� to Jackson Straets established by the City Council of the City of 5aint Paul in Ordinance No. 13539, approved January 31, 1967, as amendedf are hereby discontinued. Section 2 The lawful parking time for parking of vehicles on the north side of Seventh Place from St. Peter and Jackson Streets any day except Sundays and Holidays shall ba a ms�ximum of two hours between the hours o� 9:30 a.m. and 5z00 p.m. Except for the lawful parking of commercial or service vehicles provided in Section 4 of this ordinance, parking on the south side of Seventh Place from St. Peter to Jackson Streets any day and any time is absolutely prohibited. I �'1�� Presented By Referred To Committee: Date Out of Committee By Date -2- parked on the north side of Seventh Place from St. Peter to Jackson Streets between the hours of 2�00 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. Section 4 Only clearly markad commercial or service vehicles may park for a maximum of 30 minutes at places designated as Truck Loading Zones by signs, curbs, or sidewalk markings on Seventh Place from St. Peter to Jackson Streets between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. Parking in these zones shall be for the purpose of loading or unloading merchandise and once the operation is completed or at end af the maximum time period of 30 minutes as herein pro- vided, the vehicle shall be removed from the loading zone immediately. Section 5 Physically handicapped persons as defined in Section 144.20 of the Saint Paul. Legislative Code may park at one space per block on the north side of Seventh Place between St. Peter and Jackson Straeta, which wil.l be designated for the sole use of the physically handicapped by the Traffic �ngi:�a�a��. Such spaces shall be designated and marked by signs. No person shall park; in such spaces unless the appropriate handicapped certificate, as defined in Section 144.20 of the Saint Paul Legislative Code, is prominently displayed on the parked vehicle. Parking spaces officially designated for the physically handicapped shall be sub�ect to the same restrictions imposed in Sections 3 and 4 af this ordinance. BLUE —MAVOR File N . � Ordindnce Ordinance N 0. � "� � �� Presented By Referred To Committee: Date Out of Committee By Date -3- Section 6 Any vehicle stopped, parked, abandoned or otherwise left un- attended in violation of any provision of this ordinance is hereby declared to be an obstruction to the public streets and shall constitute a misdemeanor, Saction 7 Section 1 of this ordinance repeals onl.y those provisians of Ordinance No. 13539, approved January 31, 1967, as amended, relating to parking meters on Seventh Place between St. Peter and Jackson Streets ar�d shall not be printed as part of the Saint Paul Legislative Code but shall be incorporated therein by reference. Section 8 Any other ardinance in force when this ordinance takes effect, which is inconsistent with any provision established in this ordinanca is hereby repealed. Sectian 9 This ordinance, except for Section l, shall be deemed a part of the Saint Paul Legislative Code and shall be incorporated therein and given an appropriate chapter and/or section number at the time of the revision of said Code.
