WHEREAS, Gag, Inc. , and DuSharr, Inc. , are the holders of an on-
sale intoxicating liquor license for the premises at 2417 West Seventh
Street, d/b/a the Libation Station in the City of Saint Paul; and
WHEREAS, the License Inspector has recommended the suspension
of the on-sale intoxicating liquor license; and
WHEREAS, the basis for the recommendation was communicated to
the licensee by letter dated October 12 , 1978, which letter also
notified the licensee of the hearing date of November 1, 1978, in
Room 707 of the City Hall; and
WHEREAS, at the hearing the License Committee received, evidence
supporting the claim that the license holder permitted persons and/or
person to remain on the premises and/or also permitted the consumption
or display of intoxicating liquors after closing hours on July 27 , 1978;
and
WHEREAS, the Committee was apprised that the license for the
Libation Station was suspended for three consecutive Sundays during
the month of June, 1978; and
WHEREAS, because of the repeated violations it was deemed proper
to suspend the licenses for the sale of intoxicating liquor for a
period of seven days; and
WHEREAS, it was the desire of the Committee to permit the continued
use of the bowling license during the period of suspension; and
WHEREAS, it was agreed between the license holder, his attorney,
Earl Gray, and the Committee that the period of suspension of the licenses
would commence at 1:00 a.m. , November 12 , 1978, and end at 1:00 a.m. ,

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of
Saint Paul that the following licenses for the premises at 2417
West Seventh Street, in the City of Saint Paul, commonly known as
the Libation Station are suspended for a period of seven days
commencing at 1:00 a.m. November 12, 1978 and ending at 1:00 a.m.
November 19 , 1978:
On-sale liquor license No. 9337
On-sale Sunday liquor license No. 868
Tavern License No. 918
Off-sale malt beverage license No. 918
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that it is not the intent of the Council
to suspend the bowling license.
