The Front Avenue Seni.or Booster �lub makes a�pli-
cation for permission to conduct Bingo games for 52 periods
at 900 Rice Street beginning January 15, 1980.
The application has been made by l�nee Trierweiler,
President, and Robert A�Iichels will be managing the games, which
will be played on Tuesday evenings between the hours of 8:00
and 12:00 P.l�r.
This application has been reviewed by the License and
Permit Ji.vision and the City Attorney�s office. The recommend-
ation is for approval.

WHEREAS, the Division of Housing and Building Code Enforcement
has requested the City Council to hold a public hearing to consider
the advisability and necessity of the correction or wrecking and re-
moval of the following described buildings, said structure having
been reported to constitute a public hazard:
918 Fremont Lot 22, A. Gotzian's Subdivision Garage of
(garage only) of Block 89, Lyman Dayton's Addi- wood frame

WHEREAS, it appears that the last record owner and other parties
of interest of said building as of December 14, 1979 are as follows:
Irene E. Christenson, c/o Robert Christenson, Representative of
Es�ate, 8805-88th Street, Cottage Grove, MN 55016 is fee owner;
Dale Turner, 918 Fremont, St. Pau1, MN 55106 has an unrecorded in-
terest; there are no mortgages of record.
WHEREAS, the Division of Housing and Building Code Enforcement,
on behalf of the City Council did notify by mail the above noted
parties of interest at their last known addresses;
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held by and before the Council of
the City of Saint Paul in the Council Chamber of the Court House in
said city at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 10, 1980 to consider
the advisability and necessity of ordering the correction or wrecking
and removal of said structure: on the above descri.bed property inas-
much as said structure is reported to constitute a hazard to public
health, safety and welfare;
WHEREAS, upon the facts presented at the said hearing consisting

of photographs, inspection reports and the recommendation of the Build- �I
ing Department, it is further determined that the above building con-
stitutes a hazardous building within the def inition of Minnesota
Statutes 463.15 for the following reasons :
a. The subject property has n�ot. been boarded by the owner or
the City;
b. The garage has a collapsed roof and is unsecure;
c. The conditions outlined above constitute a public hazard;
d. The owner has made no attempt to satisfactorily repair the
damage;
e. The continued vacant and hazardous condition contributes a
blighting influence on the neighborhood;
now, therefore be it,
RESOLVED, That in accordance with Minnesota Statutes Section
463.15 through 463.25, and based upon the foregoing findings of the
City Council, the Council of the City of Saint Paul does hereby make
the following Order:
