WHEREAS, Mr. Ray McMahon has announced his retirement
after twenty years as assistant business manager of
Electricians Local 110; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Ray McMahon is a lifelong resident of
St. Paul and has served the city in a number of positions
including vice chairman of the Umbrella Committee on School
Bond Issues , building committees for both the county and
city, and numerous political committees; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Ray McMahon served as president of the
St. Paul Trades and Labor Assembly; so, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that this Council , on its own behalf and
on behalf of the people of St. Paul , extends to Ray McMahon
its profound appreciation for contributions to the labor
movement in St. Paul ; and be it
FURTHER RESOLUED, that this Council extends to

its sincere best wishes for good health, a rewarding
retirement, and continued success in all future endeavors.
